New graduate

Josh Shaw joined SESL in 2008 as an apprentice lab technician under the nationally recognised Laboratory Operation Training Package as a Certificate III trainee. Josh did most of his training in house under the guidance of our Laboratory Manager, Luzmilla Abercrombie.

A private training provider, M D & Associates Pty Ltd, provided the course outline and materials and assessed Josh’s work at each stage of the qualification.

In June this year, Josh received his Certificate III in Laboratory Skills from Michael McLeay, Director of M D & Associates. Josh aims to eventually study at university to further his scientific knowledge.
