Want to advance your career in a client facing role, pivotal to an industry leading laboratory and scientific consultancy?  We are currently seeking an applicant to fill our full-time position as SESL Australia's Marketing and Technical Administrator.

About SESL Australia

SESL Australia has evolved over 40 years and is now one of Australia’s leading soil, environmental, water and plant science laboratory and consultancy service. Our Head office in Sydney is unique in that it includes a specialist laboratory. We have a wide range of public and private sector clients including variously tiered construction companies, engineering and environmental firms, urban and landscape designers, recycling and resource recovery managers, composters, artificial soil producers, sports-field maintenance operators, agricultural producers.

Responsibilities

You will be engaging with our client base through multiple channels and enticing prospective clients to SESL Australia’s services.


You will be required to employ creative design and perspective in relation to digital content design, social media marketing, and technical writing, and will be given exposure to both consulting services and laboratory functions. You will be responsible for the maintenance of general client correspondence on behalf of the company (phone and email monitoring), tender management, formatting scientific reports and corporate documents, establishment of intellectual property in addition to a variety of administrative tasks.

This is a full-time role that requires Monday to Friday onsite attendance in the office workplace.  This role does not allow for Working from Home.  Please include a cover letter and resume when making your application. Your core responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Designing, formatting and circulating marketing and promotional material for the company.

  • Regular posting and monitoring of all company social media accounts (Blog, Facebook, LinkedIn).

  • Editing and formatting scientific reports and other corporate templates.

  • Collating and editing information and intellectual property into training modules in both video and written form.

  • Monitoring client correspondence and enquiries through company email, company phone lines.

  • Continued maintenance of web based Tender management portals (Tenderlink,

  • Vendor Panel, Tenders VIC, NSW eTenders, etc).

  • General office and clerical duties.

 

Experience and Skills

Your experience and skills include but are not limited to the following:

 

  • A minimum of 3 years marketing and administrative and/or client facing industry experience (preferably within Scientific, Environmental or related industries).

  • Proficiency with platforms of website, video and content design (such as Canva,Wix Website).

  • Proficient in social media platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram.

  • Proficiency in technical translation of scientific resources to appeal to a wide range of audiences.

  • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Strong computer literacy.
