SESL Australia's consulting scientists work on a diverse range of complex projects across Australia and internationally. We partner with both public and private sector clients including variously tiered construction companies, engineering and environmental firms, urban and landscape designers, recycling and resource recovery managers, composters, artificial soil producers, sports-field maintenance operators and agricultural producers.
Responsibilities
This role will involve using your technical skills and knowledge on a wide variety of projects for both public and private sector clients including:

Ensuring the timely preparation and testing of samples to meet client turnaround times.

Assisting in and performing sample preparation tasks with soils, plant tissues, composts and potting mixes by being involved in the handling, drying, weighing, and grinding processes.

Day-to-day upkeep of laboratory testing equipment.

Maintaining general laboratory cleanliness.

Other duties and responsibilities as directed by the laboratory management team.

About You
We are seeking a talented Laboratory Technician who want
to advance their career with a well-established and trusted
niche laboratory. Ideally you will bring:

Tertiary qualifications in science or a related discipline will be highly regarded
-
Experience in physical and wet chemistry analysis will be highly regarded
-
Experience managing a workload of large sample numbers and multitasking by running numerous tests at different workstations simultaneously
-
Experience with LIMS preferred
-
Experience working in a NATA accredited laboratory an advantage.

Self-motivation with the ability to work unsupervised

Excellent organisational skills
