Return and Refund Policy

At SESL Australia, your satisfaction is our priority. We are committed to complying with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and ensuring a fair and transparent process for returns, refunds, and exchanges.

This policy applies to product purchases made through our online store and shipments within Australia only.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

We comply with our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law, which guarantees that our products are of acceptable quality, match descriptions, and are fit for purpose.

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if the product you purchased:

  • has a major problem, such as:

    • it is significantly different from the description, sample, or demonstration model;

    • it is not fit for its intended purpose;

    • it has a manufacturing defect or is unsafe; or

  • cannot be easily fixed within a reasonable time.

 

For minor problems (which can be fixed), we will offer to repair the item or provide a replacement or refund at our discretion.

We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you simply change your mind or make a wrong selection, so please choose carefully.

These rights are in addition to any warranty provided by the manufacturer or supplier.

Change of Mind

Change-of-mind returns are not guaranteed and are offered entirely at our discretion.

We may, at our discretion, offer an exchange or store credit if you return the product in its original condition, unused, and in its original packaging, within 30 days from date of delivery. Please contact us before returning any items.

Shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer.

How to Make a Return

If you believe your product is faulty or does not meet your consumer guarantee rights, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us at info@sesl.com.au with your order number, details of the issue, and photographs (if applicable). Please note: all returns must be accompanied by proof of purchase.

  2. Wait for our instructions. We may ask you to return the item to us for assessment.

  3. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will notify you of the outcome and next steps.

Shipping for Returns

If the item is faulty or not as described, we will cover the cost of return shipping. If the return is due to change of mind, you will need to pay for return postage, and original shipping charges are non-refundable.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
